Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for individuals, families, or communities. Working in a variety of healthcare settings, you will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Your compassionate and patient-centric approach will ensure that the patients receive the best possible care tailored to their needs. You'll be tasked with maintaining patient records, administering medications, and educating patients and their families about medical conditions and post-treatment care. Your role will require strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to cope under high-pressure situations while maintaining empathy and professionalism.


Responsibilities
  • Assess patients health problems and needs to develop nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments to patients while adhering to protocols.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient healthcare.
  • Advocate for patient health by serving as a liaison between patient and doctor.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments as needed.
  • Participate actively in patient care team meetings and offer valuable insights.
  • Adhere to regulations, hospital policies, and procedures for safety and ethics.
  • Supervise and train less experienced nursing staff, aids, or interns.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families during crucial times.
  • Ensure the safe transfer of patients between different locations in the facility.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution or equivalent.
  • Valid nursing license to practice gained from passing required examinations.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and emergency care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and patient management software.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and remain calm.
