Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment:
Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and presenting symptoms.
Document findings accurately in the patient’s medical records. - Clinical Support:
Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and follow-up care. - Medication Administration:
Administer prescribed medications and injections.
Monitor patients for reactions or side effects. - Patient Education:
Provide health education, post-visit care instructions, and preventive care guidance to patients and families. - Coordination and Documentation:
Schedule appointments and coordinate with other departments as necessary.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. - Infection Control and Safety:
Adhere to infection control policies and ensure cleanliness and safety in the clinical area. - Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with doctors, other nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
