Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) provides 24 hour intensive nursing care for patients aged neonate through to adolescence.
The primary conditions and diagnoses treated are:
- Congenital heart diseases, Oncology, Neurosurgery, Haematology, Pulmonology
- Inborn errors of metabolism, post operative general surgery and ENT surgery, trauma
- All sick medical patients requiring intensive care or observation

- IV therapy
- Thermo-regulation
- Haemodynamic monitoring
- Cardiac and neurologic monitoring
- Ventilatory support
- Plasmaphoresis
- Haemodialysis
- Psychosocial care
- Blood and blood products administration
- Trauma care
- Continuous renal replacement therapy
- Pain management
- Co2, arterial blood pressure and ICP monitoring
- Conscious Sedation
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current licensure as a professional registered nurse
Eligible for registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
Minimum of two (2) years of current clinical nursing experience following licensure/registration in the country of origin
