Roles & Responsibilities
The Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Outpatient Department Registered Nurse (OPD RN) is responsible for delivering professional nursing care to patients attending the outpatient OB/GYN clinic.
The role involves:
- Recording patient histories
- Performing diagnostic tests
- Administering prescribed medications
- Developing individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
The OPD RN also assists physicians during examinations and procedures, while operating and monitoring medical equipment as required to ensure safe and effective patient care.
