Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, implement/update the Compliance Policies and Procedures Manual, including:
i. Implement Compliance monitoring through developing the Compliance Risk Self-Assessment (CRSAs) to reflect regulatory requirements.
ii. Track corrective actions plans of units, ensuring that they develop their policies, procedures and processes where necessary, and provide them with support to that effect.
iii. Ensure that appropriate revisions are made to the Manual to take into account changing business products and practices of the bank particularly Wholesale Banking.
Develop other forms of compliance controls as required.
Support Head of Compliance (UAE) to ensure that all regular returns and filings, as well as responses to regulators’ ad hoc requests for information are submitted to the regulators in a timely fashion
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5+ years in Compliance related roles in UAE
- Background in handling regulatory projects and remediation
- Knowledge of updating Policies, Procedures and Department Manuals
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
