Key Responsibilities

• Lead and achieve the International Division s budget for Energy underwriting (Upstream & Downstream).
• Build and manage a diverse, profitable energy reinsurance portfolio, ensuring disciplined pricing and risk selection.
• Position the organization as a preferred reinsurer through strong market presence and underwriting leadership.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with brokers and cedants to ensure quality submissions and high conversion.
• Oversee renewals and negotiations, ensuring smooth closures and strong retention.
• Ensure portfolio performance monitoring, including loss ratios, accumulations, and corrective underwriting actions.
• Contribute to annual business planning and budgeting for the International Division.
• Ensure documentation of underwriting rationale, compliance with internal guidelines, and audit requirements.
• Provide regular MIS and management reports (production, loss ratio, renewals, pipeline).
• Stay updated on market developments, capacity, ratings, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams including claims, finance, and reinsurance for seamless operations.
