Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients by identifying business opportunities and providing appropriate banking solutions.
  • Prepare and review credit proposals, financial analysis, and risk assessments in coordination with credit and risk teams.
  • Monitor portfolio performance to ensure adherence to approved limits, covenants, and timely renewal of facilities.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation, disbursement, and account maintenance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (credit, operations, trade finance, treasury, etc.) to ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to understand their evolving business needs and provide proactive solutions.

Strategic:

  • Contribute to the bank s growth strategy by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the commercial banking segment.
  • Develop client-specific account plans aligned with the bank s revenue, asset quality, and cross-selling objectives.
  • Support the implementation of digital and innovative banking solutions for commercial clients.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback on competition, customer trends, and product development needs.

Compliance:

  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (CBO, AML, KYC, and credit standards).
  • Monitor early warning indicators and take timely action to mitigate potential credit risks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the bank s reputation and ethical standards.

Education & Experiences:

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 5 8 years of experience in relationship management or corporate/commercial banking.

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluency in Arabic preferred.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of products and services.
  • Sound business acumen and judgement.
  • Advanced knowledge of the banking industry best practices in Oman.
