Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients by identifying business opportunities and providing appropriate banking solutions.
- Prepare and review credit proposals, financial analysis, and risk assessments in coordination with credit and risk teams.
- Monitor portfolio performance to ensure adherence to approved limits, covenants, and timely renewal of facilities.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation, disbursement, and account maintenance.
- Coordinate with internal departments (credit, operations, trade finance, treasury, etc.) to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to understand their evolving business needs and provide proactive solutions.
Strategic:
- Contribute to the bank s growth strategy by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the commercial banking segment.
- Develop client-specific account plans aligned with the bank s revenue, asset quality, and cross-selling objectives.
- Support the implementation of digital and innovative banking solutions for commercial clients.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback on competition, customer trends, and product development needs.
Compliance:
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (CBO, AML, KYC, and credit standards).
- Monitor early warning indicators and take timely action to mitigate potential credit risks.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the bank s reputation and ethical standards.
Education & Experiences:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- 5 8 years of experience in relationship management or corporate/commercial banking.
Additional Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluency in Arabic preferred.
- In-depth technical knowledge of products and services.
- Sound business acumen and judgement.
- Advanced knowledge of the banking industry best practices in Oman.
