Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer with extensive experience in troubleshooting and maintaining spider cranes and lifting equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, and implement preventative measures to avoid breakdowns. This position requires hands-on expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair spider cranes and lifting equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
    • Address breakdowns promptly and restore equipment functionality within the shortest possible time.

Preventative Maintenance:

    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce the likelihood of equipment failure.
    • Conduct regular inspections and performance assessments to identify potential issues before they escalate.

Operational Reliability:

    • Ensure all cranes and lifting equipment are in peak operational condition to meet business demands.
    • Collaborate with the operations team to address equipment-related challenges efficiently.

Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and breakdown reports.
    • Provide detailed reports on equipment reliability, downtime incidents, and corrective actions taken.

Technical Expertise:

    • Stay updated on the latest maintenance techniques, tools, and technologies related to spider cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Offer technical guidance to the team and train staff, if required, on maintenance best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience:

    • 5 – 10 Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing spider cranes and lifting equipment.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in cranes.
    • Expertise in preventative maintenance strategies from the ground up.
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer.

Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Effective communication skills in English (mandatory).

Nationality & Language:

    • Candidates must be from Europe and fluent in English.

Other Requirements:

    • Willingness to work in Dubai or Saudi Arabia (two positions available).
    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
