Responsibilities
Reliability Analysis: Review operational and technical data from the RSAF Typhoon fleet to pinpoint trends that could affect aircraft reliability, availability, and maintainability.
Performance Monitoring: Compile and evaluate reliability and maintenance data to support the creation of effective performance indicators and maintenance strategies.
Data Management and Analysis: Proactively collect and analyze RSAF Typhoon data from all pertinent stakeholders, utilizing the insights to formulate and draft recommendations aimed at enhancing the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP).
Strategic Alignment: Fully understand and align with the Reliability Programme (RP) strategy as defined by TTSS management objectives.
Reliability Investigations: Conduct thorough reliability investigations, developing recommendations to improve outcomes based on empirical data.
Recommendation Development: Formulate and provide recommendations to both the RSAF and the company on actions to assess or improve the reliability of Typhoon systems and assets
Documentation and Records Management: Ensure accurate documentation of all reliability program activities and maintain updated airworthiness records in compliance with both digital and paper-based systems.
Safety and Quality Management: Support the Quality Management System (QMS) within the reliability program, participate in audits, and promptly address findings to uphold the highest safety and quality standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in the reliability program, including the RSAF, UK Fast Jet Support (FJS), and other pertinent entities.
Reporting and Communication: Prepare detailed reliability reports, including quarterly Reliability Reports and Reliability Control Committee (RCC) meeting minutes.
Regulatory Alignment: Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant function, contract, and RSAF requirements, swiftly addressing any deviations or non-compliance issues.
Continuous Airworthiness Assurance: Participate in the annual review of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and update reliability procedures and documentation as necessary.
Innovative Practices: Utilize insights from reliability data analysis to recommend and implement innovative practices that enhance aircraft performance and maintenance efficiency.
This role is critical in advancing the reliability and operational efficiency of Typhoon operations at the Typhoon Support Centre, directly contributing to the operational readiness and performance enhancement of the RSAF fleet.
Desired Candidate Profile
Have at least 5 years aircraft maintenance experience in a relevant (CA or maintenance-related) role.
Minimum ONC in a relevant Technical discipline, or Part 66 Category C qualified, or National civilian / military equivalent and successful completion of a recognised national aircraft maintenance traineeship / apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent.
Computer literate with a sound understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.
Fluent in English.
Should be able to work on their own initiative to resolve technical issues.
Should have broad aerospace and defence company/industry knowledge.
A Practitioner level of knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness and/or the aircraft maintenance environment.
Able to demonstrate a practitioner level of Aircraft Maintenance Programme and Reliability Programme-related skills, including specific experience of data collation, manipulation and analysis.
Able to describe or demonstrate a familiar level of knowledge of the aircraft types managed, including Typhoon ESS and trilogiView.
Typhoon Q-Course or technical experience.
Experience of BAESSA and Typhoon Part M/Part 145 operations.
