We are hiring Remote Operations Junior Technician for real-time management of on-site operations, ensuring smooth system functionality, regulatory compliance, and effective incident response.This role will enhance efficiency and reliability in operations, enabling the remote operation of project sites from the Aggreko Remote Control Center in Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE.Why Join Aggreko?Full time position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Competitive compensation package Industry-leading benefit plans including medical and travel allowances Continuous training and development with career growth opportunities Safety-focused culture What You ll DoShift working to provide 24/7 remote operations support to the AMEAPAC (Africa, Middle east, Asia and Pacific) region Follow standard operating procedures including dispatching, service requests, incidents, alarms and Technical Support Desk. Follow communication protocols to ensure no unstructured communication both internally and externally. Ontime Reporting as per agreed stakeholders requirements & frequency Monitor remote control systems to ensure proper functioning and performance. Respond to alarms, alerts, and notifications from remote systems and take appropriate action as needed. Document and log activities, incidents, and actions taken in the Remote-Control Center (RCC) Conduct routine checks and inspections of remote systems to ensure compliance, safety and reliability. Provide a summary of production reports for the sites connected to RCC You ll have the following skills and experience: Fresh Engineering Graduate / Higher National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or Control Engineering Must be able to work under own initiative with good organization skills Knowledge of power plant operations. Data analysis, create insight from data for data driven decision making skills. Fluent in English, excellent oral and written communication Scada & PLC applications including operations and fault finding is an advantage Power generation industry & high voltage network experience is an advantage Find out more and apply now.
