Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, testing, and reassembly of completions equipment.

Maintain and service upper/lower completions tools, liner hangers, packers, and related accessories per technical manuals and procedures.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with HSE standards; complete JSAs and participate in toolbox talks.

Track and document work activities using work orders, checklists, and maintenance reports.

Operate lifting equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes (with certification).

Prepare completions tools for shipment and receive inbound equipment.

Report equipment issues, troubleshoot faults, and escalate complex problems to supervisors.

Lead and mentor junior team members in senior roles, ensuring compliance with SOPs and workshop standards.

Support continuous improvement (LEAN/5S) initiatives for workshop efficiency.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
  • 4 6+ years of experience in Oil & Gas workshop environments.
  • Hands-on experience with completions equipment (upper/lower completions, liner hangers, packers) is required.
  • Forklift/crane certification (preferred for relevant tasks).
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Knowledge of HSE and quality management systems in workshop operations.

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in completions tools.
  • Proficiency in repair and maintenance of liner hanger systems, packers, and completions service tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Time management and quality control skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in technical troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with pressure testing, NDT/NDE, and workshop safety protocols.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer literacy for documentation and reporting.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding workshop activities.
