Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Conduct market, technical, and consumer research to identify new products, processes, and technologies that support business growth and innovation.

  2. Lead the full New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle, from concept ideation and formulation to prototyping, testing, and commercial launch.

  3. Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to ensure continuous innovation and market competitiveness.

  4. Plan, manage, and deliver R&D projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  5. Drive growth in third-party private label business through customized product development aligned with client requirements and market demand.

  6. Develop and optimize a diverse NPD portfolio.

  7. Reformulate existing products to comply with regulatory and ingredient requirements, implementing clean-label solutions while ensuring product stability, quality, and uninterrupted production.

  8. Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure seamless product development and scale-up.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.

  2. Proven experience in R&D

  3. Strong understanding of food formulations, ingredient functionality, and regulatory requirements.

  4. Experience in private label development and customer-driven product customization.

  5. Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.

  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
