Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Working collaboratively with faculty, the researcher will use his/her expertise to research and study novel biomedical breakthroughs to:
- Identify ethical issues/dilemmas presented by new biomedical technologies
- Identify the stakeholders and their prevalence
- Deconstruct the ethical problem (conflict, precedents, worst vs best-case scenarios)
- Propose possible paths for resolution
- Document all research
The position offers an opportunity to contribute to interdisciplinary curriculum development at the intersection of ethics and biotechnology. The position is supported by a grant from the Center for Leadership Studies at CMUP.
Start date: Immediate
Duration: 2 months (Short-term, part-time, ~10 hours per week)
Modality: Fully remote
Salary commensurate with experience and expertise
Desired Candidate Profile
The successful candidate must have at a minimum a Master s degree in bioethics.
Applicants with a strong background in biology or medicine are especially encouraged to apply.
This position is open to candidates who reside in Qatar ONLY.
