Roles & Responsibilities

This project develops an AI-supported advising tool to help Dhofar University advisers identify and support at-risk students earlier. The system will use anonymized historical student records to generate personalized recommendations for academic advisors, aiming to improve student retention and reduce probation rates.

Location: Salalah, Oman (on campus at Dhofar University with flexible scheduling).

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: Bachelor s in Management Information Systems (relevant discipline preferred)

  • Ability to collect, clean, and organize structured data using Excel/Google Sheets or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability in handling sensitive information
  • Basic familiarity with data documentation and version control (training provided).
  • Excellent academic record and professional command of English.
  • Strong teamwork, punctuality, and commitment to research protocols.
