Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

This research focuses on microstructural analysis of steels, involving:

  • Phase identification in low-and high-grade steels under different heat treatments and mechanical processes.
  • Investigation of the correlation between microstructure and HE sensitivity.

Main Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze experimental data, including microstructural observations and failure surface examinations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including analysis reports, literature reviews, and final project reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking an undergraduate Research Assistant (RA) in Mechanical Engineering with a background in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Fracture Mechanics, or a closely related field.
