Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Within the Design Office and reporting to the Project Manager, you will hold the position of Design Engineer, in charge of handling non-conformities of aeronautical parts.

You will join a multidisciplinary team working on numerical simulation, analytical and technical justification issues following the detection of non-conformities on mechanical parts.

In this context, you will be required to carry out static, dynamic and/or fatigue calculation analyses, using analytical tools and numerical simulation software, in order to guarantee the conformity and mechanical strength of the parts concerned.

Job Requirements

- With an engineering degree and significant experience of at least 3 years, specializing in mechanical engineering.

- You have a solid background in numerical calculation and a good understanding of finite elements.

- You have significant experience of at least 3 years in numerical or analytical calculation, ideally acquired in the aeronautical sector.

- You have a good level of knowledge on CATIA, particularly for 2D and 3D modeling and reading plans.

- You have mastered the principles of strength of materials (SOM), as well as the reading of technical plans and the analysis of dimension chains.

- You have a good level of French and English, both written and spoken.

- You demonstrate rigor, a good analytical mind, and possess recognized interpersonal skills.

- You are proficient in Excel tools (ideally with knowledge of VBA, Matlab, or other technical data processing tools).
