Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Research Decode is an academic collaboration platform built by researchers, for researchers.
We created it to solve a problem we know firsthand:
brilliant students and early-career researchers often get stuck not because they lack talent, but because they lack access to the right mentors, practical guidance, and real-world research thinking.
That’s where you come in.
Desired Candidate Profile
Who We’re Looking For
We’re inviting PhD holders, postdoctoral researchers, faculty members, and industry researchers to join Research Decode as Experts.
If you’ve spent years navigating:
research design
experiments that didn’t work the first time
reviewer comments that made you rethink everything
grants, papers, patents, or real applied research
then your experience is exactly what our community needs.
What You’ll Do as an Expert
As a Research Decode Expert, you can:
Mentor students and early-career researchers on real research problems
Guide methodology, statistics, ML/DL pipelines, wet-lab strategy, or computational workflows
Support thesis planning, paper writing, revision strategies, and journal selection
Offer project-based consultancy or short 1:1 mentoring sessions
Help researchers move from “I’m stuck” to “I know what to do next”
You choose how much you engage and what kind of work you take on.
Who You’ll Work With
Our community already includes:
4500+ experts from IITs, IIMs, IBM, and other reputed institutions
500+ active students and researchers
5,500+ members across research-focused discussion groups
People come to Research Decode because they’re serious about research—not shortcuts.
Why Join Research Decode?

Meaningful impact – help real researchers overcome real roadblocks
Visibility & credibility – build your academic and professional presence

Life sciences, chemistry, physics, materials
Engineering, data science, cybersecurity
Any field where research depth actually matters
Interdisciplinary thinkers are especially welcome.

Research Decode
Research Decode is a worlds first research learning and collaboration platform that connects early-career researchers with faculty members, PhD scholars, postdocs, and scientists for guidance, supervision, and freelancing support in research projects. The platform helps students and independent researchers find experienced mentors who can assist with methodology, analysis planning, publication preparation, and overall research direction. Its goal is to make expert supervision more accessible outside traditional institutional settings, especially for learners working independently or transitioning into research careers. By creating connections between researchers at different stages, Research Decode supports skill development, project completion, and stronger academic outcomes.
