Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and support clinical trials in accordance with approved protocols
  • Perform patient assessments, screening, and follow-ups for research participants
  • Ensure strict adherence to GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and regulatory standards
  • Accurately document clinical findings and trial data
  • Monitor patient safety and report adverse events
  • Collaborate with research coordinators, nurses, and investigators
  • Participate in audits and quality assurance processes

Working Conditions

  • Monday Friday schedule: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • Minimal disruption compared to hospital shift work
  • Structured, predictable working hours
  • On-call rota: 1 in 6 weeks

Desired Candidate Profile

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Medical degree with full registration from Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • PGY3 6 level doctors
  • Prior hospital experience (essential)
  • Interest in clinical research (experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
