Roles & Responsibilities

The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling guest reservations in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner, ensuring a seamless booking experience that reflects the hotel s luxury standards. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.


Key Responsibilities:

Handle incoming reservation calls, emails, and online booking requests promptly and professionally.


Accurately input reservations into the hotel s property management system (PMS).


Provide guests with information on room types, rates, packages, and hotel services.


Maximize room occupancy and revenue by applying upselling techniques.


Manage booking modifications, cancellations, and special requests efficiently.


Coordinate with the Front Office and Sales teams to ensure guest preferences and VIP arrivals are noted.


Maintain updated knowledge of room availability, rates, promotions, and seasonal offers.


Ensure all reservations are confirmed and pre-arrival correspondence is sent where applicable.


Handle group reservations and liaise with events or sales departments as needed.


Maintain confidentiality of guest information and respect data privacy policies.


Qualifications:

Proven experience in reservations, front office, or customer service (hotel industry preferred).


Proficient in hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or similar systems).


Strong communication skills in English and Arabic (French is a plus).


Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.


Professional appearance and demeanor.
