The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling hotel reservations, responding to guest inquiries, and ensuring accurate and efficient booking processes. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service while maximizing room revenue and maintaining accurate reservation records.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming reservation requests via telephone, email, and online channels.
• Provide guests with accurate information regarding room availability, rates, and hotel services.
• Process reservations accurately in the hotel reservation system.
• Assist guests with booking modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
• Ensure all reservation details are properly recorded and updated.
• Coordinate with the front office and other departments regarding guest bookings.
• Promote room upgrades and special packages when appropriate.
• Monitor room availability and support revenue optimization strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of guest bookings and reservation activities.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with hotel reservation policies and procedures.
• Support the sales team with group bookings when required.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field preferred.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple reservations and inquiries efficiently.
• Knowledge of hotel reservation systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
