Your day to day

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guest Reservations:

  • Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, or online channels. Assist guests in finding suitable accommodations based on their preferences and needs. Make reservations accurately and promptly while ensuring adherence to hotel policies.

Customer Service:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests during the reservation process. Address guest inquiries, resolve issues, and handle complaints professionally and diplomatically.

Room Availability and Inventory Management:

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of room availability, room types, and rates. Optimize room inventory by managing room blocks and ensuring maximum occupancy levels are achieved.

Rate Management:

  • Implement and apply the hotels rate structure and policies accurately. Offer upselling and promotional opportunities to increase revenue and enhance guest experiences.

Group Bookings:

  • Handle group reservations and ensure that group requirements are met. Coordinate with the sales and banquet teams to accommodate group needs and maintain smooth communication throughout the booking process.

Data Entry and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain a well-organized and updated reservation database. Enter and update guest information accurately, ensuring all necessary details are recorded correctly.

Collaborative Teamwork:

  • Work closely with the front office, sales, and revenue management teams to optimize room bookings and provide a cohesive guest experience.

Sales and Revenue Targets:

  • Assist in achieving sales and revenue targets by promoting special offers, packages, and upselling amenities to guests during the reservation process.

Communication:

  • Communicate reservation-related information and changes promptly to other hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and management.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all reservation-related procedures and processes are followed with precision to maintain the hotels quality standards and brand reputation.

Training and Development:

  • Stay updated on hotel policies, services, and promotions to effectively assist guests and support the continuous improvement of the reservation process.
