Role Summary
The Reservations Supervisor role at Accor Dubai is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional looking to contribute to a global brand. This position focuses on managing room inventory, handling guest booking requests, coordinating with sales and front office teams, and ensuring reservations align with both operational and financial goals. The job combines administrative accuracy with service excellence in a dynamic hotel environment.
What You ll Do
* Supervise the daily reservations process to ensure timely and accurate room bookings
* Monitor room availability, rates, and allotments while generating reports on materialization and occupancy
* Coordinate with Sales and Credit departments regarding guest account statuses and follow up on pending credit issues
* Maintain and update all room booking materials, packages, rates, and guest documentation
* Train and guide reservation agents on hotel offerings, yield management principles, and booking protocols
* Ensure full system proficiency in Opera and related booking software
* Manage last-minute bookings, stranded guests, and group allocation changes in cooperation with the Front Office team
* Maintain optimal par levels for supplies and request inventory replenishment within budget
* Ensure consistent use of standardized notes and guest correspondence templates
Ideal Profile
* 2 3 years of experience in reservations or front office operations in a 4 or 5-star hotel
* Strong knowledge of Opera PMS and reservation software
* Familiar with hotel inventory control, rate management, and guest service standards
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills
* Detail-oriented with strong command of English (additional languages are an advantage)
* Ability to train and coach junior team members
