Resident Engineer (Civil – Consultancy) AMJAAD ENGINEERING AND CONTRACTING

Position: Resident Engineer (Civil – Consultancy) Location: Sur, Oman Employment Type: Full-time, Project-based / Consultancy assignment

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience as a Resident Engineer

• Prior experience with consultancy projects in Oman or the GCC

• Good knowledge of Omani standards, specifications, and regulations

• Strong experience in site supervision, contractor coordination, and quality control

• Ability to review drawings, method statements, and progress reports

• Excellent communication and reporting skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications

• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and authorities

• Monitor project progress, quality, and safety on site

• Prepare site reports, inspections, and technical documentation

• Ensure work is executed as per contract requirements and timelines
