Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all on-site construction and engineering activities
Ensure that works are executed according to drawings, specifications, and standards
Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project timelines
Conduct site inspections and quality checks on materials and workmanship
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals
Resolve technical issues on-site and escalate where necessary
Maintain site records including daily reports, site instructions, and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Participate in progress meetings and prepare progress reports for the client or consultant
Support handover, testing, commissioning, and close-out documentation

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
Previous experience as a Resident Engineer or Senior Site Engineer on large-scale projects
Professional certifications or licenses (e.g., PMP, PE, Chartered Engineer) are a plus
Knowledge of FIDIC or other contract administration standards (depending on the region)
