Roles & Responsibilities


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Managing large multi-disciplinary marine construction projects within the scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables;
Overseeing and managing the entire site supervision team;
Managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contractor management;
Overseeing waterfront structure and marine infrastructure construction projects;
Overseeing project construction in a variety of areas such as harbors, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads and seawalls, breakwaters and shore protection structures, beaches, shoreline stabilization and sediment management; and
Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to repeat business.

Education and Licensure

Bachelor's degree in civil, coastal, structural or geotechnical engineering.


Advanced degree in civil, coastal, structural or geotechnical engineering.

Professional Engineer license.


Skills, Experience and Qualifications

At least 8 years of related experience overseeing coastal, marine, geotechnical, and structural engineering projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Experience in managing permitting, planning, compliance and oversight of coastal projects.


Experience managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, contractor management, and contract/subcontract management.


Strong oral and technical writing skills.


Experience with international geotechnical design standards including Eurocode.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in marine, coastal, geotechnical, and structural engineering projects.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a Professional Engineer license are required.
