Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical General Accountant to join the Finance team supporting Villas & Residences at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Red Sea. This role is responsible for managing accounting operations related to residential units, ensuring accurate financial reporting, owner accounts management, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to Villas & Residences
  • Prepare and post journal entries with a focus on residential operations and owner transactions
  • Manage and reconcile owner accounts and service charges
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, including billing for residents
  • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for the residential segment
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
  • Assist with audits and maintain proper financial documentation
  • Coordinate with the Residences team to ensure smooth financial operations

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in hospitality, real estate, or residential operations
  • Experience handling owner accounts or service charge accounting is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (ERP) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
