Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee all operational departments, including Food & Beverage (F&B), Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, Recreation, and Engineering.
- Lead project management related to resort operations, including events, preventive maintenance, and new developments.
2. Team Leadership
- Maintain a strong presence in guest areas to monitor service and engage with guests directly.
- Proactively handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a high level of personalized service is delivered at all touchpoints.
3. Guest Experience & Feedback
- Regularly track and analyze guest feedback across platforms (e . g Booking. com, Google Reviews, TripAdvisor) for all resort facilities (rooms, spa, restaurants, etc.).
- Prepare and present monthly reports to the Resort Manager and Heads of Departments (HODs), highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans to address guest feedback and improve overall service quality.
- Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance service standards and boost guest review scores.
- Ensure a smooth, welcoming, and memorable experience for all guests.
4. Communication & Reporting
- Act as a communication bridge between the operational team and the Resort Manager.
- Attend and lead daily briefings and operational meetings.
- Provide timely updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
5. Financial Oversight
- Monitor the resort’s financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and Profit & Loss (P&L) oversight.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure financial targets and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
6. Quality & Efficiency Monitoring
- Conduct regular inspections of guest areas to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and presentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement service recovery or enhancement plans as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in resort operations management.
- Holds relevant certifications, such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), demonstrating industry expertise.
- Requires the physical ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the resort for extended periods; must be able to work flexible hours.
- Demonstrates a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a proven ability to drive operational improvements.
