Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival.
Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the reservation system.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Coordinate table assignments based on server availability and guest preferences.
Maintain an organized and accurate reservation book.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and courteously.
Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth guest flow and minimize wait times.
Monitor dining areas to anticipate guest needs and optimize seating efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Follow all company policies, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a hostess or in a customer-facing role, preferably in a high-end restaurant.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) is a plus.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Presentable appearance and a welcoming personality.
