Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:


Oversee the daily operations of the café to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable operation, in accordance with brand standards and customer satisfaction objectives.

Manage stock levels, control product rotation, and ensure order accuracy to reduce waste and control costs.

Drive sales through effective cross-selling and upselling techniques, highlighting flagship bakery products, beverages, and seasonal offers.

Maintain clear communication with team members and management to ensure consistency on objectives, service quality, and operational priorities.

Act as a true brand ambassador, promoting a positive image and ensuring the café reflects the values ​​and identity of La Boulangerie Française. Coach

, motivate, and train team members to deliver exceptional service, develop their product knowledge, and guarantee operational excellence.

Manage the cash register, daily deposits, and sales reconciliation with rigor and responsibility.

Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards throughout the point of sale.

Handle customer complaints professionally and responsively to ensure a positive and memorable experience.

Contribute to marketing initiatives, special events, and outreach activities to enhance visibility and customer loyalty.

Support the continuous improvement of operational procedures and staff performance to achieve sales and service targets.


Qualifications:


University degree in hospitality management or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a traditional French bakery-café.

Strong experience in managing front-of-house operations, including customer service and team supervision.

Proven experience in inventory management, inventory reconciliation, and coordination.

Ability to lead, train, and supervise diverse local teams with suppliers.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.

Fluency in French (spoken and written); knowledge of English is an asset.
