Roles & Responsibilities

Job brief:

Fine Dining Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a profitable business. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:

    • Oversee and manage all restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
    • Foster a positive and professional work environment.
    • Motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Operations:

    • Develop and implement efficient operational procedures.
    • Manage daily restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and cost management.
    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
    • Maintain a clean and inviting restaurant environment.
  • Customer Service:

    • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
    • Ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
  • Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the restaurant's budget.
    • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement strategies to increase profitability.
  • Marketing and Sales:

    • Develop and execute marketing plans to attract new customers.
    • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
    • Manage the restaurant's online presence and reputation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fine dining establishment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for the food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Food Safety Certification (preferred).
