Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring that service standards are met and customer satisfaction is prioritized.
Coordinate and train staff on service protocols, menu knowledge, and health and safety regulations to maintain a high-performing team.
Manage inventory and supply orders, ensuring that stock levels meet the demands of service without excess waste.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to enhance the dining experience.
Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively to optimize restaurant efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Monitor food quality and presentation, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure consistency.
Conduct regular inspections of dining areas and restrooms, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health standards.
Assist in creating and implementing promotional strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Prepare reports on sales, customer feedback, and staff performance to inform management decisions and improve operations.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, team-building activities, and recognition of employee contributions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
Relevant educational background, preferably a degree in hospitality management or a related field, showcasing foundational knowledge.
Experience in managing diverse teams, with a focus on training and developing staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Strong customer service orientation, able to engage with guests and resolve conflicts with a positive attitude.
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software, enhancing operational efficiency.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure while ensuring quality service.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers alike.
A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills, capable of anticipating challenges and implementing solutions.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform various tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of restaurant operations.
