Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service flow and impeccable guest experiences.
- Train, mentor, and motivate service staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in a luxury setting.
- Manage and resolve guest complaints or issues with professionalism and grace, turning challenges into opportunities for exceeding expectations.
- Maintain meticulous standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation, upholding the restaurant's reputation for fine dining.
- Control inventory, manage stock levels, and minimize waste, contributing to the restaurant's profitability and efficiency.
- Supervise table settings, ensuring they meet the restaurant's high standards and enhance the dining atmosphere.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service, maintaining a harmonious working relationship.
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective strategies.
- Handle cash handling, POS systems, and end-of-day reconciliation with accuracy and integrity.
- Uphold and enforce all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, creating a safe and compliant environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of the industry.
- Hold relevant certifications such as Food Safety and Hygiene, showcasing a commitment to health and safety standards.
- Exhibit a minimum of 3 years of experience in fine dining, highlighting proven expertise in luxury service.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of international cuisine and wine, enhancing the ability to guide guests.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with guests and staff.
- Exhibit leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team, creating a positive work environment.
- Show proficiency in POS systems and reservation software, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
- Display exceptional problem-solving skills, able to handle unexpected situations with composure and efficiency.
- Be fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages such as French or Italian, expanding communication capabilities.
- Exhibit a passion for hospitality and a dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences, embodying the essence of fine dining.
