Position Overview
The Retail Asset Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of mall customers, merchants, visitors, and staff within Majid Al Futtaim s Oman Cluster. The role includes monitoring daily operations, handling emergency situations, assisting with evacuations, and maintaining compliance with world-class mall safety standards.

What You ll Do

* Secure and clear designated areas, close entrances when necessary, and prevent unauthorized video recording.
* Direct people to exits and ensure elevators, escalators, and travellators are not used during emergencies.
* Assist elderly and disabled individuals during evacuations.
* Evacuate shops, restrooms, parking areas, and ensure fire exits are open and equipment is safely shut down.
* Guide firefighters and emergency personnel to incident sites and coordinate with the control room for trapped individuals.
* Maintain accurate and timely communication with the control room and management during emergencies.
* Authorize evacuation calls only after management confirmation.
* Ensure all staff and customers assemble at designated points and prevent re-entry until approval is granted.
* Conduct daily patrols of the mall, parking, and surrounding areas.
* Submit daily reports to the control room and uphold Majid Al Futtaim s safety and service standards.

Ideal Profile

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, safety, or retail asset protection.
* High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Strong communication skills in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly in emergency situations.
