Roles & Responsibilities
- Expertly cut, trim, and prepare a variety of meats, poultry, and seafood to customer specifications, ensuring precision and minimizing waste.
- Provide exceptional customer service by offering informed advice on cuts, cooking methods, and menu planning, building strong customer relationships.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering to strict food safety standards and regulations for health and hygiene.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and rotating products to minimize spoilage and maximize freshness.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation of basic education.
Holds a relevant culinary certificate or apprenticeship completion, showcasing a commitment to the trade.
Has a Food Handler's Certificate, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
Demonstrates 3+ years of experience in a retail butchery environment, indicating practical expertise.
