Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner to create a welcoming store atmosphere.
  • Assess customer needs and provide knowledgeable recommendations on products and services.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling techniques.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of current promotions, product features, and inventory levels.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit, and returns efficiently.
  • Ensure merchandise is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing according to company standards.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and support daily operations.
  • Participate in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and loss prevention activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide informed customer guidance.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in retail sales or a related customer-facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Attention to detail in merchandising and maintaining store appearance.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues and store objectives.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying sales opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
