Roles & Responsibilities

THE POSITION

We are looking for an experienced Retail Marketing Product Manager to join our office in Algiers and take charge of the marketing for our supermarket chain.

You play a key role in implementing the in-store sales and marketing strategy, ensuring that each point of sale is an attractive, dynamic space that reflects the brand's values. You design, manage, and optimize marketing initiatives to increase foot traffic, boost sales, and build customer loyalty.

YOUR MISSION

Define and implement the annual marketing promotion plan to boost in-store sales throughout the year.

Manage promotional campaigns (product launches, sales highlights, seasonal events, etc.) in coordination with the purchasing, operations and store management teams.

Manage the production and deployment of marketing materials: store displays, POS displays, signage, flyers, newsletters , etc.

Strengthen our digital visibility through paid advertising campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and animation of our social media pages in close collaboration with the group marketing teams.

Deploy in-store promotional activities and events in partnership with suppliers .

Actively work to improve the customer experience and satisfaction in store: quality of the offer, hygiene, pricing, signage, shopping journey… and ensure regular reporting .

Design customer loyalty and activation operations in stores and collaborate with field teams to ensure consistent and high-quality execution of marketing actions.

Active participation in the strategic and marketing repositioning of the supermarket chain

Monitor market trends and competitor actions to inform strategic thinking.

Measure the impact of the actions implemented (traffic, revenue, participation rate, ROI…) and propose areas for optimization .

YOUR PROFILE

Graduate with a Bac +4/5 in marketing, commerce, management or equivalent.

Proven experience (minimum 3 to 5 years) in operational marketing, retail, mass distribution or FMCG .

Essential field experience: you understand the challenges of a point of sale and the expectations of customers in store.

Solid mastery of point-of-sale marketing levers : sales promotion, POS advertising, merchandising, promotions, signage…

Comfortable with data analysis: KPI tracking, reporting, ROI, market research.

Excellent ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Very good interpersonal skills: comfortable communicating with internal teams as well as external partners.

Keen business acumen and customer focus .

Creative, proactive, and a source of ideas. Organized and meticulous.

Aptitude for digital technology , innovation and working in a dynamic environment.
