Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their product inquiries and purchases in a knowledgeable and friendly manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest consumer electronics trends and technologies to effectively explain product features and benefits to customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by actively promoting and selling consumer electronics products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Assist with merchandising and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and provide support during busy periods.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and competitor products to effectively position products against competition.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including inventory management and loss prevention measures.

Administrative Tasks
• Document Preparation: Preparing and managing sales-related documents such as quotes, proposals, contracts, and invoices.
• CRM Management: Maintaining and updating customer relationship management (CRM) systems with accurate customer and sales data.
• Reporting: Generating sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for the sales team and management.
• Contract Management: Ensuring contracts are signed, filed, and renewed when necessary.
• Analysis: Gathering and analyzing competitor pricing, promotions, and offerings.

Customer Support
• Inquiry Handling: Responding to customer inquiries and providing necessary information regarding products or services.
• Order Processing: Assisting in processing sales orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Issue Resolution: Liaising with customers to resolve order discrepancies, complaints, or product/service issues.

Team Support
• Coordination: Assisting the sales team in scheduling appointments, meetings, or presentations with clients.
• Materials Management: Ensuring the sales team has the necessary promotional and sales materials.
• Communication: Acting as a liaison between the sales team and other departments like marketing, logistics, or finance.

Data Management
• Market Research: Assisting in researching market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Data Entry: Managing the entry and maintenance of customer data, sales records, and product information.

Logistics and Planning
• Event Coordination: Supporting the organization of trade shows, product launches, and promotional events.
• Inventory Monitoring: Keeping track of inventory levels and coordinating restocking when needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in consumer electronics.
  • Knowledge of consumer electronics products and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
