Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement monthly and annual sales strategies for the retail sector (groceries, supermarkets, and mini markets).
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify growth opportunities, expand distribution, and increase brand market share.
- Provide full supervision of the retail sales team and monitor daily performance across all points of sale.
- Set clear, measurable targets for each sales representative and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure achievement.
- Train and enhance field team capabilities in negotiation, presentation, and merchandising standards.
- Ensure product availability and optimal visibility across all targeted retail outlets within assigned territories.
- Oversee daily distribution plans and work on increasing the number of customers and new points of sale.
- Execute sales activation programs and in-store promotions in coordination with the marketing department.
- Gather and analyze market feedback related to products and competitors and prepare accurate monthly reports.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with store owners and branch managers to strengthen brand loyalty.
- Respond promptly to customer complaints or issues to ensure satisfaction and sustainable cooperation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports covering sales, market updates, competitor activities, and distribution.
- Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide strategic recommendations to improve overall results.
- Coordinate with the finance team to define pricing structures and discounts aligned with targeted profit margins.
- Ensure full compliance with approved pricing policies across the market.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in retail sales within the snacks, confectionery, or fast-moving food segment.
- Demonstrated success in launching new products and expanding customer bases in the local market.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record in motivating and managing field sales teams.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with strong attention to reporting and performance metrics.
- Advanced negotiation, persuasion, and in-store presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Odoo ERP systems.
