Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate all drilling operations, ensuring seamless execution of the drilling program while adhering to the highest safety standards.
  • Lead and mentor the rig crew, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement to boost operational efficiency.
  • Manage the rig budget and control expenditures, optimizing resource allocation to achieve cost-effective drilling operations.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs, proactively addressing potential issues to minimize downtime and enhance rig performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.

  • Possess valid certifications such as IWCF L4 or equivalent well control certification.

  • Demonstrate at least 10 years of experience in the drilling industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.

  • Proven experience in offshore or onshore drilling operations.

  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of offshore experience as Rig Manager and at least one year should be Rig Manager on the Jack up Rig.
