Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the rigging operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to develop rigging plans that ensure efficient and safe lifting and moving of materials.
- Inspect rigging equipment regularly for defects and maintain up-to-date records of inspections and certifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of riggers, providing training on best practices and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in rigging or related fields is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in rigging operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Relevant certifications such as NCCCO, CIC, or equivalent are mandatory for safety compliance.
- Experience in construction, oil and gas, or heavy industrial sectors is highly desirable.
