Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate structured risk workshops across functions to identify, assess, and prioritize project and business risks
  • Engage stakeholders to align on mitigation strategies, ownership, and action plans
  • Perform comprehensive risk assessments for tenders, projects, and business activities
  • Identify potential risks and develop practical mitigation and response strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust and consistent risk evaluation
  • Analyze risks at project, sector, and regional levels
  • Conduct quantitative risk assessments when required
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all risk assessments and related activities
  • Prepare detailed pre-contract and post-contract risk reports in line with organizational policies
  • Provide regular risk insights and updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Share lessons learned and best practices to strengthen organizational risk capability
  • Recommend and support improvements to risk management processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Deliver training and guidance on risk management principles and techniques
  • Promote a proactive, risk-aware culture across project teams
  • Support projects as a Risk SME in establishing and embedding risk management frameworks
  • Conduct risk maturity assessments for major programs as required
  • Provide additional risk management support as requested to support overall business objectives

Desired Candidate Profile

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Advanced qualifications in Risk Management or a related field are preferred
  • Minimum ten years of professional experience with demonstrated expertise in risk management
  • Proven experience supporting both tender-stage and project execution risk activities
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of integrity with the ability to manage confidential information
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and modern risk management software
  • Experience working within engineering or program management consultancy environments is an advantage
  • Experience in the GCC region is highly desirable
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required
