Roles & Responsibilities

This 34-bed Adult General Surgery unit receives:

  • Surgical Oncology
  • Colorectal Surgery
  • Endocrine Surgery
  • Upper GI Surgery
  • Thoracic Surgery
  • Lung Transplant
  • Trauma

The majority of patients have malignant disease requiring complex diagnostic work-up, major complex surgery, or treatment follow-up.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)
  • Current nursing (RN) license
  • Must have a minimum of four years of experience as an RN; two years current experience must be gained as an RN in inpatient general surgery in a tertiary hospital

At this time, the hospital can consider only FEMALE applicants.
