Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Scope of Service:
This 33-bed, acute care medical unit includes two high-dependency units (HDU), four radio-active iodine (RAI), and five negative pressure rooms.
Patients are admitted under the care of:
- Endocrine (e.g., Diabetes, Pheocromocytoma, adrenal insufficiency, PRRT) br>
- Internal Medicine (e.g., )
- Infectious Disease (e.g., HIV, TB) br>
- Allergy/Immunology (e.g., Immunosuppressive disorders, Hyper Ige syndrome, Familial Mediterranean fever)br>
- Dermatology (e.g., melanoma, pemphigus vulgaris)
- Internal Medicine (e.g., pneumonia, CVT, pyelonephritis, multiple medical problems with complications)
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing em>(online/distance education programs cannot be considered)/em> br>
- Current nursing (RN) license br>
- Must have a minimum of four years of experience as an RN; two years current experience must be gained as an RN in acute medicine in a tertiary hospital
At this time, the hospital can consider only FEMALE applicants.
