Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The hospital sees transplant patients on the following wards:

Solid Organ Transplant Unit: A 30-bed unit dedicated to renal, lung, and pancreas transplant patients

Liver Unit: A 30-bed unit which sees both liver transplantation and hepatobiliary patients.

Note: Heart transplant patients are seen (depending on diagnosis) on the CVT unit or on the medical cardiology unit.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)

  • Current nursing (RN) license
  • Must have a minimum of two years current experience in an organ transplant unit.
