Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Pediatric Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit has 13 beds. The most common cardiac surgical procedures include:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery
- Valve Repair and/or Replacement
- Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm Repair
- Heart and lung Transplant (annually)
- Congenital Cardiac Defect Repairs
- Complex pediatric congenital anomalies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing em>(online/distance education programs cannot be considered)/em>
- Current nursing (RN) license
- Must have a minimum of two years current experience as an RN in pediatric cardiac surgical ICU
