Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Radiology Nursing provides care to all pediatric and adult patients requiring diagnostic or interventional procedures.
Radiology nurses provide services to the different Radiology modalities on weekly rotational basis or as needed; areas include: Recovery Room, CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Nuclear Medicine, Angiography, Fluoroscopy Interventional Ultrasound, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Breast Imaging and General X-ray.
Nursing care and discharge planning is provided to all patients throughout the following stages:
* Pre-procedure
* Intra-procedure
* Post-Procedure
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)
- Current nursing (RN) license
- Must have a minimum of two years current experience as an RN in radiology at a large tertiary-care hospitalbr>
