Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Participation in the planning of systems

• Participation in product development, prototyping and standardization

• Development of robot applications

• Carrying out technical clarifications and realizing interfaces

• Commissioning of systems up to final acceptance

• Prepare and conduct training

• Contact for questions about robot software and programming

• Modify existing capital equipment to improve product quality, increase part throughput, decrease cost, and strengthen safety measures

• Creation of the technical documentation including, but not limited to design input requirements, specifications, testing protocols, installation, and service procedures

• Assist Manufacturing Engineering group with troubleshooting floor equipment when required

• Comply with the company safety procedures

• Provide timely and detailed status updates

• Quality – Ensure standards are maintained in a highly regulated, process driven environment

• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites

Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet customer project commitments

• Completed degree in electrical engineering

Qualification


• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering

• Professional experience in robotics and automation

• Good knowledge in robot programming (ABB, Kawasaki, Yaskawa), knowledge of any other brand is appreciated

• Good knowledge of mobile robotics, AGVs, AMRs

• Knowledge of SIEMENS PLC programming

• Knowledge of control and drive technology

• Ability to analyze and solve problems, independent and exact working

• Excellent team and communication skills

Willingness to travel
