Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose

To provide administrative and operational support to Manager ATS (Abu Dhabi Tower and Approach) to develop and maintain the ATCO operational roster. This support may be extended to the Manager ATS at Al Ain and Bateen as required

Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Create and monitor the monthly duty roster to ensure that the operational positions are manned at all times in accordance with local and GCAA regulations
  • Identify and / or report any shortfalls in the manpower availability to the respective Managers / Deputy Managers to ensure the service continues to be delivered without disruption
  • Assist the respective Managers in the long and short-term resource planning
  • Maintain up to date records of overtime to assist the respective Managers in providing weekly justification reports
  • Collect and collate operational reports and checklists from the operational rooms to ensure document and procedure controls are adhered to
  • Assist the respective Managers in analysing data to identify trends and patterns that may require corrective / preventive measures to be put in place
  • Perform additional duties that may arise from time to time to meet administrative / operational requirements
  • Safety responsibilities and accountabilities of this position are detailed in the Safety Management Manual of the organization. The Job holder is required to maintain awareness and knowledge in relation to their safety responsibilities associated with their job function

Technical Competencies

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma or equivalent

Professional Certifications:


Experience:

  • Experience of developing duty / shift rosters required
  • 3 years in an administrative / clerical role

Special Technical Skills:

  • English language proficiency required. Working knowledge of Arabic preferred
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
  • Euro planner experience preferred
