Wood is looking for Rotating Equipment Coach to join our team in Iraq _ Basra.

This project is to focus more resources towards improving maintenance and reliability on the Oil, Gas & Water Systems, required to efficiently support maintenance, turn arounds and engineering organizations with the appropriate qualifications and experience.

Description for Internal Candidates:

  • Assess Rotating Equipment Technicians (working in oil and gas industry) and define the gaps.
  • Define a plan to close the above-mentioned gaps and discuss it with BOC rotating equipment section heads.
  • Suggest/evaluate training courses to close the above-mentioned gaps.
  • Propose development plan for fresh graduate engineer / rotating equipment technicians and discuss it with rotating equipment team lead.
  • Act as mentors for the rotating equipment developer.
  • Develop curriculum for training courses and teach classes, if necessary.
  • Conduct on-job training if necessary. Keep record for each developer and his/her progress

Expected:

  • Experience and Certification Requirements: Preferred local applicant but not necessary.
  • 10+ year experience in oil and gas industry as rotating equipment engineer
  • 5+ year experience in oil and gas industry as technical trainer, training assessor, rotating equipment developer coaching
  • BSc or high diploma in mechanical engineering.
