Wood is looking for Rotating Equipment Coach to join our team in Iraq _ Basra.

This project is to focus more resources towards improving maintenance and reliability on the Oil, Gas & Water Systems, required to efficiently support maintenance, turn arounds and engineering organizations with the appropriate qualifications and experience.

Description for Internal Candidates:

Assess Rotating Equipment Technicians (working in oil and gas industry) and define the gaps.
Define a plan to close the above-mentioned gaps and discuss it with BOC rotating equipment section heads.
Suggest/evaluate training courses to close the above-mentioned gaps.
Propose development plan for fresh graduate engineer / rotating equipment technicians and discuss it with rotating equipment team lead.
Act as mentors for the rotating equipment developer.
Develop curriculum for training courses and teach classes, if necessary.
Conduct on-job training if necessary. Keep record for each developer and his/her progress

Expected:

Experience and Certification Requirements: Preferred local applicant but not necessary.
10+ year experience in oil and gas industry as rotating equipment engineer
5+ year experience in oil and gas industry as technical trainer, training assessor, rotating equipment developer coaching
BSc or high diploma in mechanical engineering.
