Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Complete daily inspection and maintain required records.
• Perform all duties in a safe, professional, courteous, and conscientious manner.
• Shall actively participate in all Toolbox Talks, HSE Meetings and Safety Drills held on the rig and at the camp.
• Hook on loads for the Crane Operator and act as a banksman when required to do so.
• Assist crane and forklift operators in off-loading and loading all drilling materials and supplies.
• Assist in mud making activities.
• Assist drilling personnel with mud and chemicals mixing.
• Assist in the cleaning of mud tanks.
• Clean the equipment and keep work areas clean, tidy and free from debris.
• Assist with rig moves as directed by the Driller.
• Perform manual labor around the ground areas of the rig.
• Performs duties involving general maintenance of the rig which would include scraping, painting, and cleaning of decks, walls, equipment, etc.
• Assist mechanics and electricians in special jobs.
• Assist in the drift, care and maintenance of tubular goods using brushes, rabbits and thread protectors.
• Assist in assembly, dismantling and lubrication of pumps, drilling tools, deck machinery and other equipment as directed using hand tools.
• Makes up part of emergency crews performing duties as required by station bill or as otherwise directed.
• Cleaning and greasing thread connections on tubular and casing.
• Assist as required in the rig up and rig down and rig moves.
• Maintaining good housekeeping on the rig.
• Relieves floor man when required to gain experience and be considered for promotion to position of higher responsibility.
• He shall undertake any task assigned to him by his immediate supervisor or by the company or as directed by the company.
• Ensure all work is performed within the requirements and guidance of the company DOP.
